Gender and Women’s Rights

Overview

Gender and Women’s Rights seeks to empower women and girls to influence elimination of inequitable power, cultural norms, attitudes and behaviors that disempower and expose them to GBV and HIV. Key interventions to achieve this goal include sensitizing communities about women's rights, improve case management systems, enhance capacity of communities in handling GBV cases, implement various methodologies that curb GBV such as SASA! Faith, STAR Circle, Stepping Stones and more.

Promoting gender equality and protecting women's rights is central to our mission. We work to eliminate discrimination, empower women and girls, and create an environment where everyone can thrive.
